Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has announced a new feature that will allow Instagram creators to earn money.
One of the new features will be like Marketplace. Through this, brands will be able to form alliances with content creators. Even though Instagram already has sponsored content, the new Marketplace feature will help brands find emerging manufacturers, said Instagram head Adam Mozeri.
In a live broadcast with Zuckerberg, Mozeri said, “We want to help brands find content creators who match their work and do the opposite.”
Apple has recently come up with a new iOS update. Through this, the traditional form of Facebook advertising has changed. It is not possible to walk on the previous road if you want. Facebook is currently trying to come up with new avenues for advertisers.
According to a CNBC report, Zuckerberg has also announced a new feature called ‘Creator Shop’. With that feature, manufacturers can sell products directly to Instagram users from their profiles. The matter is new to the general producers but old to the stars. US reality TV star Kim Kardashian already has such an option on her Instagram profile.
“It simply came to our notice then. Many outlets in Lockdown are closed, but online is open. ” – Says Zuckerberg.
Zuckerberg has announced the addition of an ‘affiliate marketplace’. This will create an opportunity for manufacturers to make money by recommending products in their own content.
Facebook executives have not said when the feature will reach Instagram.
